The role
Reporting to the Treasury Operations Manager; you will handle the end-to-end processing of payments and payment files for corporate, pension, and payroll clients, ensuring all transactions meet established standards and requirements. Your strong attention to detail will be essential as you verify data provided by both internal teams and external partners, oversee payment operations, and confirm the accuracy of all data entries. You’ll keep a close eye on the case queue for updates, prioritising urgent issues and resolving inquiries on time to meet agreed service level agreements.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment processing activities e.g. uploading payments, tracing delayed or missing payments, and administering refunds
- Ensuring all exceptions in payment runs are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintenance of rejected payment tracker following an end-to-end rejection process
- Maintaining and clearing the unallocated credit lists
- Ensuring all payments are audit-compliant
- Escalation of complex cases to the appropriate internal team while retaining ownership of the incident
- Responsible for daily interactions with customers and third parties offering excellent customer service throughout
- Liaising with the Product, Operations, and Client Solutions teams to communicate timelines and find mutually beneficial solutions
- Become a subject matter expert within the Navro payments infrastructure, able to handle any exception independently
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a payments-related role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Strong understanding of payment processing models.
- Capability to manage shifting priorities and multitask effectively and independently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex payment concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience working with sales and customer engagement teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English is required, additional languages a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office – especially Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines/sense of urgency/customer-centric approach
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail while performing repetitive and critical tasks
